Teresa has over 25 years of experience leading global organizations ranging in size from $100M to $1B in both the private and public sectors. Teresa has spent the majority of her career in diverse roles including business development, sales and marketing where she has held progressively responsible management and executive leadership positions.
Describe your functional experience:
In her current role as Senior Vice President, Xerox Large Enterprise US, Federal Operations, Teresa is responsible for the largest sale revenue segment. She leads the strategy and has fiduciary responsibility for all operations, marketing and sales. Previously, as Senior Vice President, Sales U.S. East for W.W. Grainger, a leading logistics and supply chain company, she led a $1.1B organization with over 600 people.
In addition to operations and sales experience, Teresa served as Director of Marketing for Xerox. She used innovative strategies and unique public relations partnerships to increase metrics such as awareness, consideration, market share and loyalty in just 12 months. In marketing roles, she was responsible for analyzing the competition and evolving market trends and launching a first-to-market product offering that delivered revenue and profit growth. Teresa began her career as an accountant with Mercantile National Bank in Texas. Currently, she is board treasurer for the Washington D.C. based nonprofit organization “Suited for Change” and sits on several other nonprofit boards. Teresa understands the legal responsibilities of a board director and the governance processes of a public company.

Teresa has a history of delivering record breaking P&L performance. She has been ranked number one in every positon she has held regardless of industry or company. She is quick to assimilate to new cultures, industries, market segments and business models with a reputation for taking on new challenges requiring tough, decisive actions to accomplish significant results. She is the only senior vice president who has the honor of twice being invited to present industry strategy to the CEO and Corporate Management Committee of a $22B corporation.
Teresa has always had a skill for identifying and developing top talent. Most notable is her development and promotion of an employee who became the CEO of what FORTUNE Magazine named as one of the top three most admired computer software companies.
