Functional Experience:
Susan T. Jones is a Partner in Attain’s Federal Services division. She is responsible for managing and leading the growth of the firm’s Federal Health practice.

Ms. Jones brings to Attain more than twenty years of experience in Government technology services and sales. She combines her technical acumen, rooted in the telecommunications industry, and a degree in electrical engineering with significant experience executing large integrator capture management, as well as hardware and software sales across the Federal Civilian and Defense arenas.

Key Business Transactional Experience:
At Attain, Ms. Jones has continually played instrumental roles in the strategic initiatives that are building the organization, including her leadership contributions to securing one of the firm’s largest and most strategic Federal contract vehicles, CIO-SP3 Small Business. This vehicle has led to several significant contract wins with Federal health and other Civilian agencies to support their vital missions.

Before joining Attain, Ms. Jones was a business development manager at Capgemini Government Solutions, where she was primarily focused on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and healthcare accounts. Previously, she served in various leadership roles at Oracle Corporation and Northrup Grumman Corporation.

Ms. Jones has been an active participant in several industry organizations, including ACT-IAC, Women in Homeland Security, Women in Defense, Women in Technology, and the Homeland Security Dialogue Forum. Ms. Jones has served as a co-chair and chair of TechAmerica’s MHS Vision team, and is a recipient of the TechAmerica Vision Leadership award. She is also a winner of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s SuperNova award and the Attain Federal Star award.

What is the most important skill you bring to a corporate board?
As Partner of Attain’s Federal Health, Ms. Jones is deeply involved in the long-term vision and strategy for continuous growth of my organization as well as for the Attain as a whole.  Her experience is diverse, spanning the leading telecommunications providers, large system integrators and consultancies, software providers as well as recently bringing the small company perspective.  The majority of her career has been in the Federal arena where she has experienced the intricacies of the Federal budget and procurement initiatives.
