Describe your key business transactional experience:
I led GDIT’s enterprise level warehouse management system implementation including the first secure wireless network. This project scope was inclusive from vendor selection to go live and after action reporting. The multi-million dollar project was accelerated and a new application for GDIT. I removed obstacles and gained support by aligning myself with the project team, stakeholders, the vendor, and the GDIT IT governance including the CIO. I stayed engaged and in tune with the day to day challenges and risks with the project team and vendor and reported up early and often, remaining transparent throughout the entire project. I also drove priorities and schedules through keeping the team compliant with the PMO methodology for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. Utilizing my project management and communication skills enabled a successful project delivery on time and within budget.
In addition, I have been selected by the executive leadership team to run operations for several red/unsatisfactory programs. In these roles I have led these strategic programs from red to green including being responsible for and presenting risks, financial stability, and customer satisfaction to the ELT on a monthly basis. I have significant experience wit+ financials of over $250M annually. I have led a robust marketing campaign for supply chain leading to GDIT being selected as a top 100 3PL, production of Warehouse Management Video featured on GDIT’s website, and personally awarded Top Women in Supply Chain for 2018.
What is the most important skill you bring to a corporate board?
