Key Business Transactional Experience:
I have been engaged in several reductions-in-force as well as putting corporate facilities into ‘mothball’ status due to changes in business conditions.  Also, recently I have been involved in preliminary discussion and due diligence related to an acquisition.  Finally, my second Master’s degree (in Technology Commercialization) provided me with insights into start-up challenges.

What is the most important skill you bring to a corporate board?
The most important skill is my 35 years of financial experience (12 of those in the role of CFO) and related credentials (CPA, CMA).  By virtue of the scope of my responsibilities this also encompasses experience in the general business environment including exposure to legal, human resource, and facilities issues.
