Gayle Sweeney is a telecommunications and information technology executive and strategic consulting professional with over 20 years of commercial and 6 years Federal experience. An accomplished, driven, collaborative executive leader, she has extensive experience accelerating business strategy, building and growing management consulting practices, and delivering enterprise solutions in start-ups to international enterprises. Core capabilities include: strategic management and enterprise performance processes; full-life cycle, enterprise web technology governance and digital business strategy; order-to-cash business process reengineering and change management; organization development; product management and business development.

Gayle has conducted enterprise strategic management process implementation and business process reengineering engagements for clients ranging from the consumer business unit for a tier one international communications service provider to $400m not-for-profit research and development institutions.

Gayle architected advertising insertion and delivery solutions for convergence communications service providers and media industry start-ups; she is a recognized expert in streaming technology systems, mobile advertising, short code campaign and revenue sharing technologies, and developed patent pending advertising measurement processes. As CTO and Executive Vice President for a media industry joint venture to host compelling targeted lifestyle and entertainment communities to 1000 unique radio, print and TV websites,she secured $32m venture funding to launch the company and product. A member of the Board or Directors, she was responsible for product progress and technology expenditures and negotiated and managed over 30 technology vendor contracts worth over $50m, including content providers, software vendors, streaming media and infrastructure outsourcing.

Gayle has led several enterprise web site and content management system transformation initiatives, including the strategic redesign of Nextel.com and merger integration of Sprint.com wireless consumer product and business service web presence, driving increased ecommerce and ecare adoption, penetration and conversion ecommerce initiation and close rates. As a content management based system expert, Gayle has unsurpassed success delivering large scale web transformation programs on time and budget, as well as being brought into failing projects to reestablish vendor delivery schedules and solutions. She has built consulting practices focused on digital business strategy and telecommunications customer care and billing solutions.

Gayle holds a BS in Computer Science for Business, an MBA, and an MS, Telecommunications and Computing from The George Washington University. She has served on the Board of Directors for Women in Technology (WIT) since 2002, holding the office of President in 2005, and chairing the Heroines in Technology Gala to benefit the March of Dimes in 2005 and 2008.
