Describe your industry experience:
Erika Flora started her career as a Microbiologist turned Project Manager and has always had a passion for improving how companies manage work and serve their customers. In 2006, she started BEYOND20, a consulting and training firm built on expertise in IT Service Management, Cloud Services, and Project Management. Since that time, BEYOND20 has grown to include offices in Washington DC, San Diego, and Phoenix. BEYOND20 customers span 28 countries on 5 continents, and over 25% of Fortune 100 companies work with Beyond20 to support their process improvement initiatives. BEYOND20 is proud to be a DBE certified woman-owned, minority-owned small business.

Describe your functional experience:
Erika is the President of BEYOND20, overseeing the strategic direction of the organization.  She is also a longtime member of a number of women’s organizations including the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Women Presidents Organization (WPO).

Describe your key business transactional experience:
Leading enterprise-level IT Service Management change initiatives (including assessments, process re-design, and tool implementations) and Project Management change initiatives (including the implementation of project and portfolio management platforms that change how work is done).

What is the most important skill you bring to a corporate board?
A wealth of experience and training as a Project, Program, and Portfolio Manager. PMP and PgMP certified with expertise turning strategy into execution and getting work done, measuring success of initiatives, delivering projects on time and under budget, and implementing change within an organization.
