With more than 25 years in information technology, I have had the fortunate experience to mature alongside the explosive growth of IT from the humble beginning to the larger exponential growth within the public sectors. I possess strong enterprise infrastructure operations support and engineering design for both commercial and federal customers. My expansive experience enables me to bring a wealth of different network technologies, compliance and regulatory solutions to meet the business’s constantly expanding marketplace.
Describe your functional experience:
Executive oversight for Identity Management, Authentication, Network and Security Solutions for a $4.2B Defense Contractor. As VP, my core focus is strategic design and alignment in the critical areas of network, cyber security and authentication across the SAIC enterprise. Additional responsibilities include financial management within an overall $125M IT portfolio and developing our next generation leaders.

What is the most important skill you bring to a corporate board?
I bring to a corporate board a diverse background in business and technology and how they complement and support one another. It is the needed perspective of business valuation and viability in concert with technology enablement balanced by risk factors. In today’s world of cyber security threats and vulnerabilities throughout the company both inside and outside and by various means such as social media, social engineering and/or outright attacks- cyber security must be fairly balanced with a corporate board’s pursuits. We are at the throes of a new digital world that is moving at an unprecedented revolutionary pace of change. It is imperative that the board must be kept abreast of the fast and changing global environment; not through fear and uncertainly, but through transparency and engagement. Having participating board members well versed in these areas is a catalyst to further inform, educate and support the great things company do while keeping them safeguarded as much as possible.
