Senior legal executive serving as a legal and regulatory adviser to Board of Directors and senior management of mobile satellite telecommunications services provider. Lead Board-level initiatives involving extensive complex transactional and compliance issues both domestically and internationally.
Key Business Transactional Experience:
• Lead in establishment, implementation and deployment of joint venture in Canada to secure access to North American market, as well as development of Canadian partnership structure for new Canadian business model, involving complex cross-border regulatory, corporate, financial high yield, security and business structuring issues
• Senior Management Team member through multiple financings (over $1 billion dollars raised) and a complex Chapter 11 filing (resulting in successful sale of assets).
