Rhonda brings over 20 years of experience in creating, growing and delivering business in the Federal market.   She has successfully worked both tactically and strategically with focus on organizational change management, risk management and maximizing business value with specialization in cybersecurity.

Describe your functional experience:
As the Vice President for Cybersecurity Strategy at SAIC, Rhonda is responsible for the development and implementation of the enterprise’s strategy; positioning the company to maximize cyber market opportunities to deliver high growth returns.

Rhonda has served in managerial and leadership roles with large information technology and system integrator firms for more than 20 years.  As a leader in the IT marketplace, with specialization in cybersecurity, Rhonda brings solid business solutions to tough and evolving technical challenges.   She has managed large service delivery organizations, technology portfolios and strategic initiatives.  Rhonda helps organizations improve their financial performance, mature and pivot to meet new market demands while bringing value addition and positive changes in culture.

Describe your key business transactional experience:

  • Developed and implemented the first cybersecurity enterprise strategy for a ~$4B organization
  • Managed a broad technology portfolio delivering over $300M per year in revenue
  • Established a cyber specific pipeline and increased sales in the cybersecurity market with double digit year-over-year growth
  • Developed and implemented enterprise change management initiatives resulting in improved efficiency, rates of retention, profitability and cash flow
  • Provided operational management for a geographically dispersed organization of more than 2,000 employees while delivering double digit year-over-year growth

What is the most important skill you bring to a corporate board?
Rhonda has a holistic experience set spanning the business life-cycle from enterprise strategy development, account management and sales through execution.  Her experience brings deep understanding of the trade space and the impact that business decisions have on the organization, shareholders, clients and employees.  Her business acumen combined with her specialization in cybersecurity brings critical skills to the board in their assessment of corporate risk and understanding.  Her ability to address evolving security concerns and assist with the management of these risks is an ongoing benefit to the enterprise.
